The President of South Africa is driven in an armored Mercedes-Benz S-Class or sometimes an armored BMW 7-Series. A similar car is used by the Deputy President of South Africa.
The presidential motorcade is composed of numerous Mercedes-Benz G-Class, Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Range Rover and Mercedes-Benz ML-Class models, followed by a number of Mercedes-Benz V-Class and police cars.
