&#039;&#039;&#039;Michael Mauer&#039;&#039;&#039; is a [[automobile design]]er. He has worked with [[Mercedes SLK]], [[Mercedes SL|SL]], [[Mercedes-Benz A-Class|A class]] and [[Smart|Smart]]. He became head of the design department at [[Saab Automobile|Saab]] in April 2000. He came in too late to have any major impact on the design of the [[Saab 9-3]], but he worked with the [[concept car]]s [[Saab 9-X]] and [[Saab 9-3X]]. He moved on to [[Porsche]] in July 2004.&lt;br /&gt;
