&lt;div&gt;This transmission appeared first in the Ford Superduty, then General Motors decided to utilize it. It is the only manual transmission used in Ford, Chevrolet &amp;amp; GMC trucks 2000-2008.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The shifting pattern is hard for most people to get used to, because it has reverse gear where first gear usually would be, and first gear where second usually would be, and so on.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
It has been known to have syncro issues, and a clutch fork issue. Other than that, they are a very tough, heavy duty transmission.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
