Please highlight a few points that accentuate the [[automobile|vehicle]] and make it stand out.
On July 17th I turned 60, so that makes me a child of the muscle car era, back in the day when cars were fun to drive. Now some 40 years later I'm having fun again. Thanks Pontiac ! On July 19th I purchased my new G5 GT.

This will not be objective or logical. I love Pontiac. One of my fathers goals was to be able to afford a new Pontiac every two years. Starting in 1959 with a new Catalina and continuing threw Bonneville and Grand Prix he succeeded. So maybe it's hereditary, but I love them all the same. The worst thing I can say about my G5.....it's not a Ferrari, but I'm not Rockafeller either.

My G5 is competition yellow, which is much faster than Brown or some other drab color. I had the dealer install the performance air intake and I added a Magnaflow exhaust (sounds great). How fast is it? It's not as fast as my '69 Chevelle 396 SS, or my '67 289 Cougar, or any of the three corvettes I've owned,but hey this is a new era. I have dusted a couple of Honda Civics, a cavaleer, and a cobalt. It's got a little giddyup in it's 2.4L ecotech. The 4 speed auto trans shifts very smooth. Suspension is firm but comfortable although it's scheduled to be replaced with an Eibach suspension soon. Four Wheel Anti-lock brakes mean I haven't hit anything yet. The 17 aluminum wheels and 205/50 tires will be replaced by 225/40x18 wheel and tire combo. The only reasons for the changes....it's all part of a second childhood. A 60 year old street racer, I like it.

The car handles very well although I would have liked a tighter turning radius. the brakes are very good and air bags are comforting to have. I would venture to say it's as safe as any car in it's class.

With a 100,000 mile warranty I hope I'm driving long enough to see it run out. To date the car only has 900 miles on it.

The bucket seats fit like a glove, dash is easy to read, and the shifter is easy to reach. The sun roof adds a little romance for the wife and I.

I love the sporty look and lines of the car. Competition yellow is bright and bold all it needs is two black racing stripes down the middle. I'll wait till next month for that.

On July 17th I turned 60, so that makes me a child of the muscle car era, back in the day when cars were fun to drive. Now some 40 years later I'm having fun again. Thanks Pontiac ! On July 19th I purchased my new G5 GT.

This will not be objective or logical. I love Pontiac. One of my fathers goals was to be able to afford a new Pontiac every two years. Starting in 1959 with a new Catalina and continuing threw Bonneville and Grand Prix he succeeded. So maybe it's hereditary, but I love them all the same. The worst thing I can say about my G5.....it's not a Ferrari, but I'm not Rockafeller either.

My G5 is competition yellow, which is much faster than Brown or some other drab color. I had the dealer install the performance air intake and I added a Magnaflow exhaust (sounds great). How fast is it? It's not as fast as my '69 Chevelle 396 SS, or my '67 289 Cougar, or any of the three corvettes I've owned,but hey this is a new era. I have dusted a couple of Honda Civics, a cavaleer, and a cobalt. It's got a little giddyup in it's 2.4L ecotech. The 4 speed auto trans shifts very smooth. Suspension is firm but comfortable although it's scheduled to be replaced with an Eibach suspension soon. Four Wheel Anti-lock brakes mean I haven't hit anything yet. The 17 aluminum wheels and 205/50 tires will be replaced by 225/40x18 wheel and tire combo. The only reasons for the changes....it's all part of a second childhood. A 60 year old street racer, I like it.
