The '''LF-A''' is a 2-door [[Concept cars|concept car]] [[Toyota]] produced under the [[Lexus]] brand and part of the [[Lexus LF]] series of concepts. The LF-A's 5-liter (or smaller) engine produces at least 500-[[HP|horsepower]] (373 kW), propelling it to a top speed of approximately 200 [[Fuel efficiency|miles per hour]] (322 km/h). It débuted at the 2005 North American International Auto Show.

[[Toyota]] has given the LF-A [[Concept cars|concept car]] the green-light for production. Prototypes of the LF-A have been spotted being tested at the Nürburgring, and the production vehicles are expected to carry V10 [[engine]]s, putting the car in competition with the [[Lamborghini Gallardo]] and [[Porsche Carrera GT]]. Pricing is expected to exceed $100,000.
I personally don't think that itb sould be this expenive. man if it wasn't i would but one myself.
In 2007, Lexus GB director Steve Settle confirmed that both a V10 and [[Hybrid Car|hybrid]] version of the LF-A would be produced. The hybrid version, combining a petrol engine with electric motors, would likely feature a [[V8]] powertrain similar to that designed for the Lexus LS 600h L.

===LF-A I (2005)===
The first LF-A premiered in 2005, and featured a 'capsule' shaped design, rounded-rectangle headlights, and a plunging noseline. This was the original version of the LF-A concept, then billed as a 'speculative' model for Lexus.

===LF-A II (2007)===
The second LF-A premiered two years after the first, in 2007, alongside the IS-F. This restyled version of the LF-A was said to be 'much closer to a production' model, and was a prospective member of the Lexus F-Sport lineup. The second version of the LF-A had more rounded contours, and restyled front end, side panels, and rear deckline.

A convertible version of the LF-A premiered in January 2008 at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The latest version of the LF-A concept featured a further refined styling treatment evolved from the LF-A II model, and added a speed adaptive retractable rear wing.
