The 480 is a 4-seat, 3-door hatchback produced by Volvo. It's marketed as a coupe, even though it has looks between a liftback and a estate. This is the only Volvo to have pop-up headlights.

==Development==
Press launch first began in 1985. However, the car was seen at the 1986 Geneva Motor Show and was available to the public by 1987. The 480 was first planned for North America, but it would take some time due to currency exchange rates. This is the second Volvo to have the sport back styling, the first being the [[Volvo P1800]] and the third being the [[Volvo C30]]. In 1988, the Turbo model came out. In 1992, the 480 got new mirrors and new headrests for the back seats. In the same year, special editions came out. Finally, the production of the 480 ended in 1995.

The BMW New Six is a six-cylinder car made by [[BMW]]. It was made from 1968 through 1977. The New Six was a response to the [[Mercedes-Benz]] large luxury cars. There were two body styles of the New Six: a coupe and a sedan. The two body styles both had there internal names: E3 for the sedan while the coupe had E9.

The 2500/2800 models were made from 1968 through 1977. In 1969 the 2500/2800 models came out in America. The 2500 didn't have many luxury features as the 2800. The 2800 had luxury features like full leather interior, power windows, and power sunroof. In 1971 North America exclusively got the Bavaria model, a model that replaced the 2500/2800 models. The Bavaria was $5,000. While the 2800 model was more expensive with a price of $6,874. In 1971 the 3.0S came out.
