This template will categorize tagged articles into [[:Category:All articles lacking sources]] and either [[:Category:Articles lacking sources]] or a monthly category like [[:Category:Articles lacking sources from {{CURRENTMONTHNAME}} {{CURRENTYEAR}}]], if a date is supplied.<br />

The simplest way to add this template to an article is to copy and paste {{tlx|more sources|article|date&#61;{{CURRENTMONTHNAME}} {{CURRENTYEAR}}}} at the top of the article.<br />

==Usage==<br />
This template also has two optional fields.<br />

The first permits the user to specify whether the entire article or a specific section needs additional sources. For instance, if the entire article needs additional sources, a user would enter {{tlx|more sources|article}}; but should the user wish to be more specific on which section of the article needs additional sources, then the user could enter {{tlx|more sources|section called "Childhood"}}. Leaving the parameter undefined is acceptable, as it will print out the default text "article or section".<br />

The second field is a date parameter, entered as <code>"date=''month year''"</code>. Adding this sorts the article into subcategories of [[:Category:Articles lacking sources by month]] and out of the parent category, allowing the oldest problems to be identified and dealt with first. If the date parameter is omitted, a [[WP:BOT|bot]] will add it later.<br />

Note that order does not matter with respect to the above optional parameters. Both {{tlx|more sources|section|date&#61;{{CURRENTMONTHNAME}} {{CURRENTYEAR}}}} and {{tlx|more sources|date&#61;{{CURRENTMONTHNAME}} {{CURRENTYEAR}}|section}} will produce the same result.<br />
